Gerri Gomez-Howard

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Gerri founded GHG on the belief that the most powerful communications work is rooted in genuine, lasting relationships with the communities being served. As CEO, she brings deep expertise in media relations and strategic communications, with a focus on education, health, arts and culture, and multicultural communications building an agency defined by community-led solutions and equity-centered practice.


Her career began in broadcast media at CBS Colorado, where she served as manager of community affairs and later as a cause marketing business development specialist, increasing visibility for social causes through sponsor-supported campaigns. Her work earned her a regional Emmy and a nomination for her role as executive producer of the public affairs program "Mosaic." The experience continues to shape her belief in the power of storytelling to drive social impact.


A sought-after community leader, she has served on boards including the Early Childhood Leadership Commission, the Hope Center and the Women's Foundation of Colorado. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Denver Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, and is a graduate of Leadership Denver, a program of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation.
