Alli is a Colorado native, growing up in south Denver and attending Colorado State University where she earned her B.A. in History and Education. She taught 6th grade Social Studies in Loveland, Colorado before taking a position for the Department of Education in Wyoming. She worked as an elementary and middle school literacy interventionist for a school in Fremont County, Wyoming on the Wind River Indian Reservation.
She moved back to Colorado where she worked as the Extended Child Services Director for an elementary school in Cherry Creek School District where she was able to see the intersection of business and education and stress the importance of education in the lives of all students, no matter their beginning circumstances. She earned her MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver with a focus on marketing and sports management. While there she interned for the Colorado Golf Association as a marketing and social media intern learning the business of sport with a nonprofit lens.
She previously worked for GHG as an Account Coordinator before leaving and now returning as an Account Manager connecting the business and nonprofit sector with their surrounding communities. She most recently worked as the Communications Coordinator for Castle Pines Golf Club and was responsible for all the internal and external communications for the Club, taking on creating stories, designing marketing material and updating branding in order to further the mission and support business objectives.
Alli is a passionate professional with a knack for organization and project management; she believes wholeheartedly in implementing a meaningful communications strategy in an effort to give all organizations a chance to make the world a little better than how they found it. Alli is an avid sports fan, a yoga enthusiast and loves hiking, reading and playing with her dogs in her downtime.
