Joey is a former journalist, educator, and government policy and operations analyst with more than 15 years of experience in public and private communications. He owns Peña Media, Marketing & Communications, and specializes in integrated marketing communication, media and public relations, crisis communication, and the development of strategic communication plans. In his work with the Gomez Howard Group, he supports RootED Denver, Ednium, Colorado Gynecologic Cancer Alliance, Black Resilience in Colorado Fund, and several public schools in Denver. He is a strategic and thought partner for clients, and provides support with earned and owned media, media training and executive coaching.
