Niambi Nicholes brings more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience, combining strategic vision with tactical excellence to bring brand campaigns to life. She has worked in both the public and private sectors, specifically in corporate, government, non-profit and sports and entertainment. She began her career with the Denver Broncos Football Club where she worked in media relations and marketing, overseeing the marketing communications strategy and development of all team publications. She went on to spend six years in public relations and advertising agencies specializing in the restaurant/hospitality market and consumer/retail marketing. During this time, she built and implemented local, regional and national marketing and public relations campaigns for some of the biggest consumer brands targeting millennials, general market and multicultural audiences.
She brought her vast experience to the City and County of Denver where she served as the Director of Communications for the Office of Human Resources, leading the agency’s rebranding initiative, launched the city’s first City University and employee focused marketing campaign. Niambi specializes in strategic organizational communications, integrated marketing and communications campaign management, change management and brand partnership development. She prides herself on seamlessly integrating business strategy with effective communications strategy to solve organizational challenges. Niambi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism specializing in public relations and broadcasting from Metropolitan State College of Denver; and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Regis University.
